Thiamine nitrate with Cas 532-43-4
What is Thiamine nitrate?
Thiamine nitrate(Vitamin B1),White needle shaped crystals or crystalline powder, with a faint rice bran like specific odor and bitter taste. Melting point 248-250 ℃ (decomposition). Very soluble in water (1g soluble in 1mL of water at 20 ℃), slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether, benzene, chloroform, and acetone. Both redox reactions can cause it to lose its activity. It has good thermal stability in air and acidic aqueous solutions (pH 3.0-5.0), and is easily decomposed under neutral and alkaline conditions
Vitamin B1 naturally exists in foods such as rice bran, bran, lean meat, and peanuts, and pure products are usually prepared by chemical synthesis. Thiamine nitrate (vitamin B1) is involved in carbohydrate and fat metabolism; When lacking, it leads to loss of appetite in animals. As a feed additive, thiamine nitrate and vitamin B1 play an important role in maintaining normal nerve conduction, as well as normal activity of the heart and digestive system.
