4-Butylresorcinol, also known as Rucinol, is an effective ingredient in various cosmetics that can inhibit melanin production. - After the synthesis of melanin, it enhances tyrosinase degradation, inhibits the transfer of melanocytes to keratinocytes, and has a light stripping effect due to the action of fatty acids. This function is strengthened by the presence of fatty acids and regulates tyrosinase degradation
